Philip Roman Zelazo, PhD

Dr. Zelazo is a world-leading scientist in the fields of early typical and atypical development, the basis for psychopathology. He practiced at the New England Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine first as Co-Director of the Center for Behavioral Pediatrics and Infant Development (1974-1982) then, as Director of the Center for Infant-Toddler Development (1982-1984). He brought his expertise to Canada and refined these procedures while serving as Head of the Department of Psychology (1984-2002) at the Montreal Children's Hospital and Professor of Psychology and Associate Professor of Peadiatrics at McGill University.

Dr. Zelazo currently serves as Director of the Montreal Autism Centre and acts as senior psychologist. He is Professor of Psychology (Adjunct) at McGill University and continues his research in affiliation with McGill and Concordia Universities and the Centre for Research in Human Development.
